Vancouver, B.C., September 3, 2008 - Western Canadian Coal Corp. (TSX: WTN, WTN.DB & WTN.WT and AIM: WTN) ("Company") announces it will be holding its 2008 Annual General Meeting on Thursday September 4, 2008 at 10:00am (Vancouver time) at the Metropolitan Hotel at 645 Howe Street, Vancouver, BC.
