Manage mine development projects from definition of objectives and planning through construction and commissioning, according to strict deadlines and budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members including third-party contractors and consultants, overseeing quality control, and tracking progress against schedule and budget in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Minimum 10 years of experience in mining and/or project management including planning for mine development, preparing engineering reports for regulatory approvals and feasibility studies; construction of infrastructure in grass-roots development and modifications to current operations, and a degree in Engineering and eligibility for registration as a P.Eng. Frequent and extended travel to mine sites will be required.
